Since this summer we are pleased to officially welcome to the Hubertus staff the South Tyrolean chef de cuisine Thomas Mayr.
Thomas developed his passion for cooking at an early age and turned it into his profession. In his career he gained experiences in top-class hotels and restaurants all over the world, amongst others in the Steigenberger Hotel Alpenkönig in Austria, in the Tantris Restaurant in Munich, in the Danube Restaurant in New York City and in the Les Amis Restaurant in Singapore, but even in several first-class hotels in South-Tyrol.
The South Tyrolean native, with his passion and creativity, would bring to the Hubertus the traditional South Tyrolean cuisine combined with international specialties. For him the most important thing is the use of local, seasonal ingredients without any flavour adulteration.
